I just realized I've now made it through my second hardfork of STEEM. While I realize there were people here a couple years before me, I still feel it's a bit of an accomplishment.

Still here.

Still STEEMing.

I'm curious to watch what happens with my rewards this coming week. I haven't actually been paying any attention to them in quite some time, but now I think I'll be heading over to Steemworld and doing a little analysis.

Honestly I've reached the point in this journey where I care more about supporting and connecting with the community than the value of my earnings, though it would be a happy surprise to see my STEEM moon someday. Or even just break through the atmosphere. I'm not buying more even at these low prices, but I'm also not selling to realize deductible losses. I maintain a wait and see stance on the financials.

But the community is an absolute yes. It's a bit puzzling to me how so many people are iffy on that one, but I guess it comes down to some people really needing a financial return on their time invested here. So when they see things they think jeopardize that, it can go so far as to make them sour on the entire platform. It's harder to have the stance of an explorer, seeing whatever will be seen and discovering with an open mind, when your sustenance depends on things going a certain way only. Hopefully this hardfork will lead to changes that satisfy more people and lead to appreciation of the price/value of STEEM.

Have you noticed any patterns that have changed in your rewards yet?

@Gillianpearce noted today that upvotes on comments are now harder to get above the .02 dust threshold. We'll see with your comments on this post. I'll try, but it's possible that even as a dolphin I'll run out of SP.
