Hi. I have to tell you about the world now. It's hot. Hotter than ...well, not as hot as last year. But it will be. ANd also could you find my sunglasses? Because the future it bright! Hot and bright! Sounds like my kind of weather, right? Well, it's not! It's too hot, and I can't step outside for fear of being blinded by the light. Just gotta be careful
There's a story I like to tell on occasions such as these. It's the story of my grandfather's farm. It smelled like cigar smoke. That's because he grew smoking cigars right out of the ground. Could just pluck them from the topsoil and puff away. Well, with all the GMOs and SREs and DDTs and ADHDs out there, no one is growing organic cigars anymore. They're all being made by machines in factories. Robot cigars. Sure they look and feel like the real thing, but only nature can grow a perfect cigar. Synthetic cigars, can you believe it? Absurd!
And don't get me started on the asteroids. Time was, in my day, it was a belt. You put it on, it held your pants up. Now asteroids are floating around there in space. They still call it a belt, but it won't hold up your pants.
