How’s THIS:
@stekene again! Congrats!
Coffee
As in,
Beanie, the street kid, was in charge of the cadre of street kids. They picked pockets and put all their money together to buy themselves fancy coffees, then gave it to Beanie with their order. They’d call him over by saying, “Cap’ Urchin, yo!”
Bada bing, you’ve been punned. See, it’s funny because Cap Urchin, yo sounds like Cappucino, which was the fancy drink they wanted to order, but also Beanie is their captain, their Cap’. And they’re street kids, aka urchins. Also, it’s common to get someone’s attention by saying “yo” But maybe they were just saying cappuccino. We can’t know. And in that uncertainty we find…comedy.
Brilliant. Brilliant. I’m so good at puns.
If you've never punned before, it might seem like magic! You can do it, too! Learn how in My Free How-To Guide on Punning!
