Jenk's Museum of Junk, it says on the sign. Cassius cautiously pushed the frunt duuur. It shook the jangle of bells on the inside handle.
The room smelled like dust. Dry, liable to make Cassius sneeze if he took too deep a breath. A dark stain on the hardwood floor caught his eye. It vaguely resembled the outline of a bear to him. He took in the metal shelf that would have looked more at home in the backroom of a Food 4 Less than a museum. Cat toys and bones stood between him and a stack of books at the back of the shelf.
Whew. I wrote more slowly than usual with a lot more intentional thinking. This wasn't a freewrite so much as an exercise. Oh well.
