Disney announced that for the first time in the company's history, one of its amusement parks will hold an LGBT pride parade within its facilities.
As confirmed on its official website, the event called "Magical Pride" will be held on June 1 at Disney World in Paris, celebrating diversity in "the place where dreams come true.
The "Magical Pride" was held for the first time in 2014 also at Disney Paris, however, was not an official event, as it was not organized by people from the park, explained to NBC Nathan Tunnah one of the travel consultants in charge of its organization.
"Last year, Disney decided to make it a signature event, because they saw how popular it is becoming," said Tunnah.
According to some users in social networks, the officiality of this festival comes 28 years after the "Gay Days at Walt Disney World", the first unofficial event of the homosexual community in Disney in 1991.
Disney, as a brand, has been slowly including the LGBT community, especially in its television programs and movies, including "Star vs. the forces of evil," "Andy Mack" and "Good Luck Charlie".
