Whats up Hiveians and Splinters, it's been a while since I published my blog introduction here! Now I'm so excited to upload my first Splinterlands lineup strategy. This strategy I made is about Fire lineup and if you are a fire fan you can also use this lineup on melee mayhem rule!

If you want to know more about me you can also check my blog introduction here

First lets talk about Tarsa, a 4 mana Chaos Legion edition Fire summoner adding +1 Melee attack and +1 Health to its Monsters. This Fire summoner is also undervalued and it is currently sold for 2.45 USD which I think is the best affordable summoner for fire element. It's summoning ability makes its Monsters dominate the enemy Monsters quickly. Example here is the Exlpoding Dwarf!

Now let's talk about this old cute card Exploding Dwarf, this is a Beta edition reward card a strong common card from Fire element. It has a Blast and percieng ability at level 5, and has a 4 Melee attack which makes him very strong combining its abilities and adding another 1 Melee attack if you summon it with Tarsa. It has only 1 health and I think it's not bad at all, but you can add additional 1 health with its Summoner Tarsa.

And here's another one Melee Monster that fits with Tarsa, the Serpentine Spy!
This is one of my favorite Melee Monster from Fire element because of its Opportunity ability and its high speed. And it's only a 3 mana card, not a bad card even it has only 2 health, with its high speed there's always a chance to miss enemy attack, but if you use it always make a way to hide him from another enemy Monster with the same Opportunity ability. How? you can read it below!

Monster with Opportunity may attack from any position and will target enemy Monster with the lowest health

This battle is a 14 mana cap only and all elements are playable except Earth, the rule is Target Practice and Melee Mayhem.

Rules explanation

Target Practice:

All range and magic attack Monsters have the Snipe ablity

Melee Mayhem:

All Monsters with melee attack can attack from any position

In this battle I thought the opponent would also use Serpentine Spy and not a monster with sneak. So what I did is to put Serpentine Spy on the last position and placed Scorch Fiend in the first position followed by Furios Chicken in the second position, and put Flame monkey in the third position and Creeping Ooze for the forth position followed by Exploding Dwarf.

If the enemy uses Serpentine Spy or any Monster with Opportunity there first target would be the Scorch Fiend because if there is low health Monster with equal health to its friendly Monsters the Opportunity ablity would target first who's positioned in front.

Then luckily my opponent did not use any Monster with Opportunity and only used the following melee Monsters the Sorch Fiend, Ant Miners, Kobold Bruiser, Flame Monkey, Cerberus and Creeping Ooze.

THE BATTLE IS NOW READY TO RUMBLE!

All buffs and debuffs applied

ROUUND 1

My Serpentine Spy card was the first attacker and killed enemy Scorch Fiend

My Serpentine Spy attacked was followed with my Exploding Dwarf

And here you can see enemy Ant Miner with 0 health, Exlpoding Dwarf was able to kill Ant Miner with armor in just one shot! it is because of his Peircing ability and he also dealt
additional 3 damage to enemy Kobold Bruiser because of its Blast!

My cards was able to killed two enemy monster in my first turn, thanks to Serpentine Spy and Exploding Dwarf!
Now is the enemy's turn, Cerberus was the first who attacked in its remaining lineup and killed my Scorch Fiend.

My opponent second attacker was Kobold Bruiser and aslo killed my Furious Chicken

Here's my turn again for Flame Monkey and killed Kobold Bruiser

My opponent Flame Monkey was also had the chance to attack but luckily he was not able to kill my Flame Monkey

Enemy Creeping Ooze was then attacked and killed my Flame Monkey

ROUND 2 STARTED WITH THE REMAINING MONSTERS

And my Exploding Dwarf was first to attacked in this round and targeted enemy Flame Monkey

Screenshot 291.png

My Exloding Dwarf killed enemy Flame Monkey and dealt additional blast damage to enemy Cerberus

Serpentine Spy attacked and killed enemy Creeping Ooze

Turn for enemy Cerberus, the card remaining in its lineup.
Cerberus killed my Creeping Ooze

AND NOW ITS ROUND 3, THE FINAL ROUND!

In this round I'm the first attacker again because my monsters was faster than my enemy, and as you can see enemy Cerberus can't even get a chance to attack. Enemy Cerberus would be killed quickly by my Exploding Dwarf and Serpentine Spy, he will recieve a total of 5+4 melee damage and he would not able to sustain it with its remaining health even if he heals itself he would still be dead.

THE BATTLE RESULT

I got rewarded for +19 and a .681 DEC, its a very small DEC reward because my ECR was down to 15% in this battle which is very low.

SUMMARY

My strategy here is when the battle is Melee Mayhem rule, Tarsa is always my second option aside from Mylor, so because earth element is not available and can't use Mylor I chose fire element and picked Tarsa as summoner. Also as some players do not know Exploding Dwarf is best for low mana cap battle because of its blast ability that could wipeout all low health monsters. I encountered many low mana battles and I saw most players uses low mana monsters but have low health, so I picked Exploding Dwarf as I predicted that my enemy would also use low mana monsters but low Health. And I picked Serpentine Spy for the reason to kill enemy Creeping Ooze in the early fight so the slow debuff to my monsters would not last longer. I also used Creeping Ooze to assure that my monsters could eliminate enemy monsters quickly as what happened in the fight. Because of this melee strat I able to beat Kira1995!

Thank you Hiveians and Splinters for reading until here, and that's all for this blog I hope you got some info on how to pick proper cards for low mana cap battle and Melee Mayhem rule!
