There are some melee attackers that are very strong damage dealers and the good thing is that they are available at a low price. We should look for such cards and add them to our deck because in most battles, especially mid to high mana battles we need a heavy striker.
So, it is necessary to have a strong melee attacker, ranged attacker or magic attacker. Today I will talk about a monster card whose melee attack power is very high and which is considered a heavy damage dealer.
This monster not only has excellent melee power but it also has three amazing abilities that make it very dangerous overall.
First lets talk about the visual appearance of this monster card. The name of this monster is Mordeus. It is a Legendary card and belongs to the Fire element. Because it belongs to the Fire element you can see a fiery background behind it...
It looks like a dangerous dragon made of fire with flames flowing through its body. It is wearing battle armor and is staring at the enemy while roaring in anger as if it is about to attack and completely destroy the enemy.
This is a 7 mana monster card so you can easily select it in almost every mana battle. This is one of its best advantages because it gives you flexibility to use it in many battles.
At Level 4 this monster has 7 melee attack. As I mentioned earlier it is a heavy damage dealer so it attacks the enemy with 7 damage every round. If the enemy monster has 6 or 7 health which is considered high health, this monster can often eliminate it in a single attack.
Unfortunately this monster has no armor to protect its health and this is its biggest weakness. Another weakness is that it has very low health only 4 health.
This means that if you do not position it properly it can be eliminated very quickly and you will lose the benefit of its powerful melee attack and special abilities.
So, it is better to pair it with a healer or a strong protector monster. Also position it carefully so that it takes as little damage as possible.
This monster has 2 speed which increases its attack speed and also helps it dodge enemy attacks.
At Level 4 this monster has three special abilities that make it extremely dangerous. These abilities are Opportunity, Stun and Piercing.
This ability targets the enemy monster with the lowest health no matter where it is positioned on the battlefield... In Opportunity position does not matter. The only thing that matters is which enemy has the lowest health.
If an enemy in the front line or back line has only 3 or 4 health this monster will attack that target first. Because it is a heavy damage dealer it can eliminate low health monsters in a single round. This weakens the enemy team and breaks their overall strategy.
When an enemy unit gets stunned... Its turn is skipped and cannot retaliate. In simple words when an enemy monster is affected by Stun it loses its next turn and cannot attack any allied monsters during that turn...
The stun ability will not allow enemy unit to use their any attack power. Rather the retaliate power is being snatched because of this ability.
When this ability monster attacks an enemy unit which has armor and after its armor being destroyed then any damage left goes directly to the enemy health.
For example, if an enemy has 5 armor and 5 health and this monster deals 7 damage, it first destroys all 5 armor and the remaining 2 damage immediately reduces the enemy's health. This is considered one of its best abilities...
Now let's move to an important section of this content which is price and renting.
It is important to understand how much this monster card costs and how much it costs to rent. Remember that this is a special card and does not belong to the Modern format.
Usually, there are two versions of this card. One cheaper and one more expensive. Mainly because of the card design and appearance.
At the starting level this monster card is available for around $0.45. As you continue upgrading it the price can reach around $5 which I think is very reasonable considering its abilities.
However if you cannot afford to buy this card you can rent it instead. The rental price starts from 1 DEC per day and goes up to around 10 DEC per day.
This means you can easily rent it at a very low cost, add it to your deck and take full advantage of its excellent power and abilities.
