Once upon a time, you could do a degree and it would last you your whole career, today you'd be lucky if what you learned during three years of your qualification even lasts for three years.
We need to be constantly learning, constantly growing, constantly evolving, people think education stops after their degree, which is the reason why you hear students say stuffs like
I won't read a sign board upon graduation
But to be honest education truly starts upon graduation from school, yes, it requires work and struggle, your days won't be called "Saturday and Sunday" anymore but "effort and hustle", when people are resting you'll be up at night working.
And that's why formal education will make you a living but self education will make you a life.
