Nice to be with you again. :)
Things are rolling along, or shall we say.. Floating through the universe. :D It's been a fun adventure so far and I'm enjoying the journey with all of you!
First I wanna say that I apologize for getting this quest out a lil late, I had a difficult time getting to sleep last night and was really tired.

Next I wanted to say that.. We've been a bit behind on our judging duties however we finally got the second round done and judged the other day and

We're getting closer and closer to the half way mark! Seems like just yesterday we started!
Wow.. Time sure does fly sometimes, especially for me when the IFC is in season.
I keep wondering how we can get this game to scale with more people as it's very time consuming even with about half as many active/regular players as last season.. Perhaps we should do more simple quests like the last one of Bashadow's word idea challenge? That was an idea I had at the end of last season.. Do more simple quests and save the more difficult ones for the finals.
Hmmm... I'm not sure.. It's something I think about a lot, yet I think most of those concerns would probably vanish if we got enough funding to help properly pay more judges to help out. Will continue to think about it.
Anyways.. Enough of that.. Onto the next quest!
The subject of our eighth quest is.. "Power Spot"
This is one of my favorite quests! I love it when our game gets interaction happening in the physical world!
The objective of this round is to go into the physical world somewhere and take a picture of a place that you feel is "powerful" or that you feel "powerful" at.
It doesn't necessarily have to be out in nature or even away from your house, last season we had people use rooms in their house as their power spot and that's okay..
Maybe it's your computer table where you do your work? Maybe it's your room where you sleep? Maybe it's your front porch with a nice view? Or.. Maybe it's somewhere further away out in a nearby city or nature environment?
The catch is you have to go to this spot in person and film it, you can't just pull a picture off the internet, and you have to make a note to hold in the frame of the picture with the acronym IFC and the date to help prove you were actually really there in person and didn't just pull it from your computer or the internet.
I suppose it's possible in this day and age to photoshop such kinds of things, though.. I would like to think I could spot a fake, lol.. But.. Maybe I could not.. Either way.. The rule is to hold a piece of paper that says IFC and the date in the frame of your picture to help show that you were really there.
Then also please write up / type up a little something about why the spot is powerful to you, and also if you'd like to include a shot of the spot without the IFC tag in there that'd be cool too!

The challenge will finish after 7 days when the post ends and provides its payout cycle or when all entries have been submitted.
25% of the post payout goes to curation and after that what's left will now be split up 75% to the winner of the round and 25% to put towards building up the

If you're unwilling to make your own steem account we will at some point be willing to convert it for you to whichever currency however.. Title of blog post or subject of email must contain, "IFC S2R8"
Leave a link to your post in the comments below unless you are playing via email in which case myself or someone else will do so. (This part is important and a lot of people forget this, please put the blog link in the right place so our judges can find it)
And you also have to use the #ifc tag in your blog post as well unless you are playing via email.
You must accept that if you somehow get hurt doing any of our quests you can not reasonably hold us accountable. You must take responsibility for your own choices and actions in life. This is a voluntary game where you choose to play. Only you can make such decisions for yourself.
You are responsible for paying the appropriate government taxes, fees, and service charges resulting from any transactions with the IFC or Marketplace. We are not responsible for collecting, reporting, paying, or remitting to you any such taxes, fees, or service charges, except as may otherwise be required by law.
Acceptable content
A. A blog post or email which follows the rules explained above about a "Power Spot"
B. Language is primarily in English and if you would like to participate from elsewhere in the world it is up to you to translate your message into English so we can understand you.
C. Do your best to make sure everything is properly sourced.
D. We also encourage role playing for those who enjoy doing that. :)
