Magandang buhay馃挍
The new week is looking lovely. Bluer sky and some sunshine at last, yay!
Dad had issues with his phone and asked me to check. "Ads kept showing up since yesterday, even when I'm not clicking on anything," he said. It's quite amusing, but he likes using TiktTok to listen to local music.
It took me a while to figure out what was causing it, because the pop ups (gambling and such) continued to run even when I disabled its access to the wifi and data. A virus scan didn't show a risk. It turned out a malicious app installed itself and cloned a legit one on the device. Wicked, I say. Thankfully, it was removed and the phone is working smoothly now. The old man is pleased, and is currently playing some Freddie Aguilar tunes馃槄
Anyway, since we are having a brighter and drier weather, I thought I'd start the yard work. But first, let me share the little surprises found out there, like these rose buds, ready to pop open soon!
The life cycle of these plants is quite fascinating. They thrive, bloom, wilt, their leaves and flowers fall off, but then they thrive again. They were fully blooming a few months ago. Now I wonder how many times they do that in a year.
On the edge of the yard, these bright yellows (St. John's Wort) couldn't be missed too. And look who's visiting鈥攁 pollinator!馃悵馃悵馃悵
No wonder some colors are popping up almost everywhere!
Even the Pumpkin Bush is effortlessly showing off its own unique beauty.
And just when I thought there is no more, these persistent plants came to sight.
The raddish keep coming back, even when they had been previously removed. And a pumpkin (I didn't plant any) co-existing with a nightshade! Just one of nature's many astonishing magics, I guess.
And yep, my real work for today begins right after this馃槉
EDIT:
After taking the photos, I went inside to write and publish this. I came out soon after finishing to find something different.
Damn! How can I miss something so magical? I mean, wow! The tiny buds have all opened up!
