Tuesday's Er-[Runs]

We were in the neighboring town yesterday for errands, an oil change service, and maintenance. The car's registration renewal is approaching, and we had to make sure everything is in order (above standard) to avoid any hassle when the day comes. We visited the boys first to deliver some needed farm stuff, then we proceeded to the service center. Thankfully, there was no queue, so we were served at once. Two people catered to us, which was nice, and things were done quickly.

Our cow (car) is healthy, according to them, well except for a worn-out O-ring which they replaced. Alas, we didn't have to spend much more than the normal charges, so yay!

We then picked up our parcels at my sister's, dropped by the resto for takeaway lunch, and headed back home. Thank goodness it didn't rain, so we installed the patio roof later in the afternoon. The hubby had to get the hang of the roofing screws, though, which took a bit more time at first. But yes, the job was completed. I even had time to sow some seeds for the hydroponic starter set, where I'm intending to grow 100% organic veggies for our table ^{(more about that on another day).}

I'd say it was a fulfilling day.

Anyway, it's midweek, and it calls for my usual slothly savers update. On checking the savings wallet, I was surprised that none had been added in the last 5 days. I realized the recurring transfer had already concluded last week. That prompted me to set another and manually transfer some; hence, the 101 HIVE increase during the week. All good!

Meanwhile, it's a gorgeous morning in DD with plenty of sunshine. Weather forecast indicates that a low-pressure area is building and is expected to enter the PAR, which may bring a tropical storm. I think we should take advantage of today's bright skies and make it our Laba (laundry) day, not to mention the car needs a good bath too!😁
