The sleeping job

The moment I saw this question I knew just the silliest job that I would love to do and the fact that I would be content with this job makes it sillier😂😂

Please don’t judge me just yet, kindly look at it from my perspective and I bet you’ll give it a thought for some minutes too😂

So at first when I thought about this job I thought I was a genius for imagining such a job that never existed but while trying to draft this post I decided to check on the internet if there was really a job like that before I take credits for this awesome job. I immediately typed “Sleeping jobs” To say I was stunned by the results of this search would be an understatement, like people get paid to sleep, people get paid to freaking sleep?!!

Some mattress and bedding companies actually pay people to sleep on their mattresses or beddings to give them a review on how these products feel and they check the duration of time a person can sleep on their products. You can find more about sleeping jobs here.
Ladies and gentlemen, the more I read about these sleeping jobs the more my eyes widened, and here’s the one that actually got to me.

1. Become a Sleep Executive While the term “sleep executive” sounds rather fancy, the premise behind this job is quite simple. As a sleep executive, all you have to do is sleep an agreed number of hours per day (usually 8), keep track of your sleep in a journal, and provide feedback on your experience. Companies will hire and pay sleep executives to gather valuable insight into people’s sleep habits and patterns.

I read this close to four times and I got angry, I got angry because I don’t joke with my sleep and this is one job that I would be the best fit for, oh boy I will carry out my duties effectively and I will keep getting promoted because this young lady will sleep very well for this people. I feel cheated right now because this type of job exists and I have been killing myself for this 9 to 5 job?? 😳😳

Please if you are reading this and you know of any legitimate company that is currently hiring sleepers please I would be more than happy to apply, mind you distance is not a barrier as I am open for relocation, Thank you😁

Imagine sleeping, as per relaxing, enjoying yourself, dreaming, and being taken to Lala land and still being paid?? Only God knows how early I will show up to work, Lol I might even be called to order for taking the job too seriously as I wouldn’t mind working overtime😂😂

The thought of being dressed in my pajamas and sleeping soundly in my office sounds really fun to me😂😂

So I would just wake up every morning and get dressed in my corporate dress and someone seeing me on the road would admire me from afar thinking that I am a strong career lady heading to the office to smash it not knowing I am heading to my bed in the office to sleep and when people ask me what I do I would boldly tell them I am a professional sleeper, talk about breaking the norm😂😂

I will stop here before some people think I have gone completely crazy and should my dad see this? I am dead😂😂.
