Hello everyone! Today, I want to share with the @hivediy community this decorated pot design I created for fans of the play2earn game @splinterlands. The character is called the Twisted Jester. What is the play-to-earn game Splinterlands?

It is a blockchain-based collectible card game (Play-to-Earn/P2E) where players can earn cryptocurrency and token rewards while playing.

If you enjoy card games and cryptocurrencies, "Splinterlands" is a great way to earn while having fun. Personally, I enjoy it even more by creating custom artwork of the card characters.

In the following I will show you step by step the realization of my work. To begin with I will mention all the materials used:

In the initial phase I start by painting the base in blue color, giving a fine tone to the design. Used the 🖌 wide brush for a longer stroke and nicer finish. Always in the same direction for a curious finish.

En la fase inicial comienzo pintando la base en color azul, dando un tono fino al diseño. Utilizó el pincel 🖌 ancho para un trazo más largo y acabado más bonito. Siempre en la misma dirección para una terminación curiosa.

Next, I sketched the Twisted Jester’s face in pencil ✏️, framing it to make drawing the pot easier.

A continuación, dibujé con un lápiz ✏️ el rostro del bufón retorcido, enmarcándolo para resultar más fácil dibujar la maceta.

Once the pencil sketch was complete, I used a fine brush to paint the pot, starting with the hat and then the suit. I used acrylic paints in violet, red, yellow, black, and white.

Una vez terminado el proceso del lápiz, utilizamos un pincel fino para colorear la maceta, empezando por el gorro y luego el traje, utilizando pinturas acrílicas de color violeta, rojo, amarillo, negro y blanco.

Finally, we gave the final touches to the eyes with a pointer, using red and white paint to give them a better look. Next, we added a coat of matte acrylic varnish to give it a glossy finish and let it dry for a few minutes.

Por último, dimos los últimos toques a los ojos con un puntero, utilizando pintura blanca y roja para darles un mejor aspecto. A continuación, añadimos una capa de barniz acrílico mate para darle un acabado brillante y dejamos secar unos minutos.

Each brushstroke, every detail I added, immersed me deeper and deeper into his enigmatic world. I played with light and shadow to give it that touch of mystery and magic that surrounds him. And I confess—every stroke made me feel more connected to this twisted yet fascinating character.

What I love most about being part of Splinterlands' social media section is the incredible community around it. It’s amazing how players share their own creations and support each other in their love for art and fantasy. I truly feel honored to be part of this community and to contribute with my own artistic vision.

Cada pincelada, cada detalle que añadía, me iba sumergiendo más y más en su mundo enigmático. Jugué con las luces y las sombras para darle ese toque de misterio y magia que lo envuelve. Y te confieso, cada trazo me hacía sentir más conectado con este personaje retorcido y fascinante.

Lo que más me encanta de participar en la sección de redes sociales de Splinterlands es la comunidad increíble que la rodea. Es impresionante cómo los jugadores comparten sus propias creaciones y se apoyan mutuamente en su amor por el arte y la fantasía. Me siento verdaderamente honrado de formar parte de esta comunidad y poder contribuir con mi propia visión artística.

It’s worth mentioning that I found this design inspiration on Splinterlands community, but the actual decoration was handcrafted by me made with care to make the cactus 🌵 look even cuter!

The final step was planting it, choosing a small-sized one to complete the piece.

Cabe destacar que este diseño fue buscado en la comunidad de Splinterlands; pero la realización de la decoración es hecha por mí, con dedicación para que luzca más bonito el cactus🌵.

El paso final es plantarlo, eligiendo de uno de tamaño pequeño.
