We talked a little about who this funny character is, the protagonist of the long-running comic strip Garfield and the multimedia franchise of the same name. He's a chubby, lazy cat who expects his friend Odie to do all the heavy work for him. He enjoys watching television and eating lasagna, while Odie does everything that requires effort, although they don't get angry. He's an orange furball and a TV classic.

This animation was part of my childhood, it has been very appealing because of its hobbies and wonderful adventures. Here I leave you a decoration of Garfield's faces. I know it's not much, but it's my way of expressing myself through art.

Es un gato regordete y holgazán que espera que su amigo Odie haga todo el trabajo pesado por él. In the initial phase, I start by painting the base of orange, giving the design a fine tone. I use a wide brush for longer strokes and a nicer finish. Always in the same direction for a curious result.

En la fase inicial comienzo pintando la base de color naranja dando un tono fino al diseño. Utilizó el pincel ancho para un trazo más largo y acabado más bonito. Siempre en la misma dirección para una terminación curiosa.

Then, with the pencil I draw each animated Garfield face, well framed, and that way it will be easier for me to paint each flowerpot.

Luego, con el lápiz dibujo cada carita animada de Garfield, bien enmarcados y así me resultará más fácil pintar cada maceta.

Once the pencil process is finished, we paint with the fine brush the flowerpots corresponding to each cat face, using black, white, and yellow acrylic paint to highlight its details well.

Una vez finalizado el proceso con lápiz, pintamos con el pincel fino las macetas correspondientes a cada rostro del gato, utilizando pintura acrílica negra, blanca y amarilla para resaltar bien sus detalles.

Finally, we move on to the final touch-ups on their faces with the fine liner brush, using pink, white, and black paint for a better finish on the eyes. Then we add a coat of matte acrylic varnish to give it more shine, letting it dry for a few minutes. This design is a bit more complex, since the parts to paint are smaller.

Ya por último, pasamos a los retoques finales en sus caras con el puntero, usando la pintura rosada, blanca y negra para un mejor acabado en los ojos. Después le añadimos una pasada de barniz acrílico mate para darle más brillo, dejándolo secar por unos minutos. Este diseño es un poco más complejo, pues son más pequeñas las partes a la hora de pintar.
