Today, I come to continue sharing with you my visit to the great National Museum of Fine Arts in Havana, but this time I present beautiful and significant abstract paintings of personalities of the Cuban plastic arts, mainly Amelia Pelaez del Casal and Jorge Arche in the room of the emergence of modern art. JORGE ARCHE
Arche es reconocido por su habilidad para capturar la esencia de sus sujetos con un estilo realista y detallado. Su obra ha sido fundamental en el desarrollo del arte moderno en cuba, y recorrido en varios países del mundo como México, España, Brasil y otros.
This second division in the room is assigned to Jorge Arche (1905-1956), a Cuban painter known mainly for his portraits and still lifes. He was part of the Cuban Vanguard movement, which sought to break with academic traditions and explore new forms of artistic expression.
Arche is recognized for his ability to capture the essence of his subjects with a realistic and detailed style. His work has been fundamental in the development of modern art in Cuba, and has traveled to various countries around the world such as Mexico, Spain, Brazil and others.

De todas las muestras de Arche, el que más me impresiona es este cuadro de gran formato, donde dos figuras descansan cómodamente sobre la hierba, sus rostros expresan tranquilidad y relajamiento.
El artista desarrolla un entorno de paisajes hermosos donde la pareja entrecruzada en el centro crea un equilibrio ideal a la obra.

Of all of Arche's samples, the one that impresses me the most is this large format painting, where two figures rest comfortably on the grass, their faces expressing tranquility and relaxation.The artist develops a beautiful landscape environment where the intertwined couple in the center creates an ideal balance to the work.

Note: I always take one or two photos of the exhibition hall, so that you can see how the paintings, the tourists and the decoration of the place look, all very colorful, well lit and well cared for by the staff. AMELIA PELÁEZ
Su obra se caracteriza por el uso de colores vibrantes y la incorporación de motivos arquitectónicos, decorativos como los vitrales y relajas coloniales, sus cuadros expresan variedad de figuras de mujer, paisajes, naturaleza muerta, frutas y otras inspiraciones.
Su trabajo logra una amplitud internacional participando en Bienales de Sao Paulo, Francia, Estados Unidos, México y Venecia.
In this first part I will talk about the avant-garde as the maximum feminine expression of the modernist plastic art: Amelia Peláez del Casal (1896 - 1968) an outstanding Cuban painter, muralist and ceramist, known for her unique style that fuses the modern with the Cuban tradition.
Her work is characterized by the use of vibrant colors and the incorporation of architectural and decorative motifs such as stained glass and colonial tiles, her paintings express a variety of female figures, landscapes, still life, fruits and other inspirations.
His work achieves an international scope participating in Biennials in Sao Paulo, France, United States, Mexico and Venice.

Esta obra de la pintora cubana Peláez, refleja la luminosidad del ambiente cubano apoyada con elementos de la arquitectura nacional como son los techos de alfarje, además de tapetes tejidos. Obra caracterizada por la utilización de líneas gruesas y curvas, áreas planas y amplios volúmenes.
