Just don't tell me about blockchain or crypto. Nah!!! Not believing in it. Flop before in investment and caused me bankruptcy and depression which followed suit. Not going to believe all these anymore. No more trading or investment.
Above are some misconception I heard from people who are fearful to step into new future. I am not a crypto or blockchain pro but I am learning day by day. Although, I do not do trading or investment because of insufficient knowledge but I do my 'investment' here by blogging. There are so many platform now who let you earn as you blog or as you read, blockchain based and there are still a bunch of my friends who are skeptical. They may not necessarily all out against it, but the fear of failure is hindering them to step into the new.
It is not easy to replace the old standard of living and lifestyle, where we keep our money in banks and earn that tiny interest per annum. You tell them about Nexo or Celcius, they would be terrified and before long, you felt your words fell on the ground. Hearts were shut. Ears weren't listening.
What about old citizens? I saw many here who believe in crypto and blockchain yet when I told my parents about crypto, they just didn't know how to gauge. Being adequate is one thing. Being ignorant is another thing. And mum is not using Facebook or Instagram or Twitter at all. She just didn't quite know how. To her, it is all a mess. From registering to log in with passwords. And with her short term memory, maybe the next day she will forget the password.
How to even move on to seed phrase? Oh well, it is truly not easy to replace the old standard that had been stucked there for years. But my parents definitely are amazed at how blogging at blockchain is able to reward us. 馃尮鉂わ笍
