When my body is tired, it automatically shuts down in terms losing appetite. Does it happen to you? Because some of my friends told me they eat more when they are tired. Mind-boggling how each body works differently.
My brother met an accident past Sunday and got his neck pulled. He got into muscle spasm and can't really turn his neck. For safety purpose, I avail to be his driver everyday to send her daughter to school plus other miscellaneous driving around. Little did I know, driving around here and there makes me tired too. However, I am totally satisfied that I can be of help to him. His car is at workshop now, under repair, leaving him with no vehicle at all. As his sister, that is the least I can do to help. Praying he recovers fast as I know he misses driving around.
As usual, when I am tired, I crave for soup. And soup only. The body just won't really accept heavy meal. I popped my head into my fridge and see what ingredients I had to make a soup. I didn't prefer the usual Abc soup. I found...
Okay, set! Let me make some oyster mushrooms soup. Thank God, I had chicken carcass to make the soup sweeter. Then I found radish (daikon) as well as carrots. Put then all into the pot and boiled for one and half hour. Season with salt and pepper.
It didn't look appealing or appetizing but it was certainly delicious. And most importantly, gentle for my tired digestive system. Soup soup soupy soup!
Hope you are doing good reading this. =)
