Time is the medium in which we are entwined
Space by another name is the fabric which binds us
Blinding us, maybe it will find us, looking backwards
Through the looking glass, sand of the hourglass
Ticking away, making us stay living day by day
Moment by moment every single grain is draining
Falling as our life is fading, making everything return to black
Back to the Source, the force that’s peering at the back of it’s head
That which we return to when we’re dead.
The sun’s burning away its fuel and then
The one who started it all will look at His empty garden
Fallen were his angels, sucked back up to be His brain cells
Fucked up is the progenitor hearing His dinner bell
The apex predator that we’re evolving
By solving the heat death to give eternal breath
Is the Paternal test: “Can life withstand my little jest?”
Funny how the Father created His own game
Where failing to fight is what’s to blame
Refusing to bring light is the greatest shame
We’re all the son, separated from the One
Just like carbon generated from the sun
Emergent properties from past suggestions
Just like Socrates asking constant questions
Giving rise to something new: Making novelty is what we do
Understanding our fate and what we brew
Means no one can procrastinate not even a few
The primordial soup is a tasty stew
The life force just might force a hue
Of light to reverberate across the night
No rock can masturbate in the slightest
All clocks moving forward is the word
Dividing the waters, making them flow
Is how the magic of God happens to go
To withstand the current, we must toe the line
Of the divine: inside is where we’ll find
The answers to our purpose in time.
