I see it constantly: people convinced their lives would transform if only their partner changed, their boss changed, their family changed. They rehearse the same story over and over—how they were wronged, betrayed, cheated, screwed over.

Here's the uncomfortable truth: in every single one of those scenarios, there's only one common denominator. You.

That doesn't mean you're a bad person. It means you have power. If you're present in every problem you face, then you also hold the key to every solution. But you can't access that key while you're busy pointing fingers. Because every time you do, three fingers point directly back at you.

The stories we tell ourselves become our reality. What you say is what you get. Keep narrating your victim story, and you'll keep living it. The people who wait for others to change before they can feel better? They live miserable lives.

This isn't about blame. It's about ownership. When you stop looking outward and start working on yourself, everything shifts. Not because the world changes, but because you do.

The question isn't whether other people need to change. The question is: are you ready to stop waiting for them to?
