It's not a coincidence that the people who are least capable of thinking could happen to be
struggling with self-confidence and self-esteem and marginalize with most aspects of their lives.
You can't grow if you take yourself too seriously and are blinded by your own reality so in particular when someone much more successful than you takes the time to give you any feedback be grateful and take notes the older you get the rarer it will become because everybody knows that you can't change the mind of most older people and the older people whose mind could eventually change are already successful enough that they don't need much feedback.
Their humility and willingness to change is how they got where they are in the first place.
