Does money change people?

In life, money is the most important thing, and I think there should be no doubt about it because almost in every step in life we need the money and we cannot deny the fact. I have seen some people saying that money is not so important, but I found such kinds of statements ridiculous. I think, only some emotional people can give such kind of statements because I don't feel that any practical person can say such kind of statements.

Whatever, that's a different topic. But today I'm going to discuss a very common controversy. Many people say that people change after they get money or earn a good amount of money. Do you think it's right? Does it mean money has the power to change people? I think whatever a human does fully depends on his decision and I believe that he should be responsible for it. Even if it's our decision, there are some influencing factors that need to be considered. So, let's discuss it.

In my life, I have seen various kinds of people and among them I have seen some poor people, but they were very polite and I was impressed because of their politeness and their honesty even if they are poor. Among them few have changed within few years after when their financial condition improved. To be honest it was called surprising for me because I didn't expect such kind of thing from them. Why have they changed? Does money is the reason for what they have changed, or money changed them or it was the genuine nature of them? I have different different opinions because I figured out different possible reasons for their change.

Some of them actually had the natural that we see after the change. At the beginning time they were very polite to others because they were helpless and if they had revealed they are that kind of arrogant nature to others they would face negative consequences for eating and for their own advantages or for not suffering they choose to be polite unless the situation improved. It was like they were hiding their real or true nature at the beginning and when they got the money and power, they were allowed to reveal it or they became free to reveal it.

The other kind of people didn't change directly. When their financial situation improves, they start to get together with higher class people they don't want to share their poor background with their new circle. I don't feel such kind of thing but many people feel it in that way and that's why they try to isolate their full circle from the new circle and somehow, they become distant in that way and for such kind of motive their nature changes slowly with time and I think in that case I can only blame their mindset.

Again, there are a few types of people who just don't know what to do and after getting the money and power, they start to feel like they are something else and nobody can mess with them; they're the best and this kind of intention naturally changes their personality. I think those kinds of people can come back to their senses when they suffer a few setbacks.
So, in my opinion, money itself is not the issue; the people's mindset is the main factor in that case.
