Greetings healthy,
"Kolak" (compote) in Indonesia is very familiar, Kolak is usually eaten as a dessert, or can be eaten alone. Kolak has many variations using local plantation products, and kolak means food consisting of a collection of food ingredients mixed together.

Kolak is usually eaten make with cassava,banana,cassava,jackfruit and other ingredient, Kolak is made with basic ingredient such as brown sugar,granulated sugar,coconut milk,and pandan leaves.

This time I will make "Kolak" cassava mixed with bananas, I use Kapok bananas. Very easy to make,


The ingredients


  • 300 grams of cassava
  • 2 geok bananas
  • 120 grams of brown
  • 65 ml of instan thick coconut
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt
  • 750 of water
  • 1 pandan leaf.

Step 1 cut cassava according to taste and wash clean,also cut banana. Boil water until it boils,add cassava and banana until half cooked,add pandan leaves,enter the brown sugar and granulated sugar,stir until thick.

Step 2 add condensed milk,salt,stir until smooth,once cooked remove and ready to serve.
