After defeating a terrifying Lamentation with fire weaving, I entered a shrine to retrieve the oil for Rinko's bike. Touching it plunged me into a surreal realm where the Shiromuku separated KK from me again. After reclaiming KK's soul and defeating the demon, I faced heavy demon resistance near the Torii Gate.
This Lamentation gave me real goosebumps as she jumped toward me while I was shooting arrows, leaving me completely out of ammo. At the last moment, I used my fire elemental weaving abilities to take her down before she could strike.
I went ahead and found one more Lamentation along with some Wanderers roaming around. Keeping my distance, I took them all down safely from afar without letting them close in, and then I cleansed the entire corrupted area.
I had to get inside the shrine next, where I located the special underworld oil needed to run Rinko's bike. However, as soon as I touched the container, the surrounding environment twisted into a creepy, surreal nightmare.
While Akito expressed his frustration and KK told him to just play along, I kept moving through the shifting corridors. Eventually, I reached a room where the oil container sat waiting to be collected.
Before I could grab the oil, I was forced into a battle against the Shiromuku, the massive demon who had previously ripped KK away from me. To be honest, I was not ready to face such a terrifying threat again.
Throughout the encounter, the demon coated the entire floor in thick frost to slow my movements and trap me. Despite pushing through the cold, the Shiromuku managed to pull KK out of my body once more, stripping away my supernatural powers.
Fortunately, the demon became distracted with KK's floating spirit, giving me the opening to sneak close, pull KK back inside me, finish off the Shiromuku, and finally claim the oil.
After exiting the shrine, my priority was escaping this twisted underworld realm by heading toward the Torii Gate. Along the way, I had to re-cleanse several corrupted zones that had returned.
As I drew close to the Torii Gate that led back to reality, it became clear that escaping would not be easy. A massive horde of demons spawned in to block my path while my ethereal resources were dangerously low.
