Being apologetic was never in my nature while growing up because I thought I had reasons for doing the things I do so why should I be sorry for anything I do? Well, like some persons, I learnt my lessons the hard way. Life is filled with different people from different places, culture, backgrounds and many more so it is totally unthoughtful for us to think that people should act the same way.

The fact that we all are brought up in different ways by different people shows that everyone can't be the same and shouldn't be treated the same way. Just like our fingers, everyone is not equal and we should try to respect that. I think most people get into misunderstanding because they try to treat every thing the same way.

Some people are already used to taking paracetamol when they have headache and they also recommend it to someone else because the person mentioned they also have an headache. And that headache must have been caused due to an increase in a person's blood pressure and it's never advisable to take paracetamol for such headache, instead you should contact a health personnel (a doctor preferably).

Like I mentioned earlier, I've been guilty of this before and that's why I'm explaining so much, hehe. So there was this situation I got into with a friend which I'd be sharing a little about my mistakes and also my lessons learnt with you all. I do hope someone gets to learn from my experience.

There was this time when I was in school and I didn't had time to call a few persons who were always checking on me. There was this particular lady who has always been checking on me and supporting me but then when I heard she was not doing well, I couldn't reach out to her because I was choked with the preparations for my exams. Although I tried reaching her through a phone call but it did not go through that day so I just relaxed.

After my exam, I went back home and I made sure to reach out to her by visiting her. When she saw me, she was happy but then after welcoming me, she made it clear to me that she was not happy that I didn't reach out to her every since she wasn't feeling well. She was so unhappy with me because I was really close to her and yet I wasn't concerned about her. I was not sure how to make her understand that I was busy with other things. But then that was an excuse and I knew that was not the best thing to do at that point.

I immediately apologized to her and I told her I was going to work more on doing better. At that point I could feel her heart melting away, she was speechless for a while and then she later forgave me and that was because I didn't give her any excuse but instead I admitted my wrong. I knew I didn't do the right thing by not reaching out to her even though I had a good reason for doing so. And the only best way to handle such a situation was for me to admit my wrong which I did and it worked like magic.

My advice is, we should always try as much as possible to avoid giving reasons for doing what we do and learn to admit we are wrong when we should.

Until next time, stay AWESOME and JIGGY!!!
