Hello my Hive open mic family and my beautiful viewer, it's a really great privilege to make an entry for this week, I've been having some challenges trying to get my entry in for every week so I had to take it slow but for this week I took it upon myself to make an entry no matter what and here I am. This week's theme which was chosen by our spotlight artist and it's called FIGHTING OPPRESSION and for my entry, I chose to present a song from my hymn book titled VICTORY IN JESUS.

This song talks about how we will be able to gain victory in Jesus because he has died for us and bought us with his own blood just so we can be able to have power over sin, by obeying his commands. We fight the oppression of sin every day of our lives and we are most times succumbing to it's oppression even without knowing but then, the moment we realized we have fallen, we should run to Jesus Christ because it's only in him we can find victory and that is why I felt this song was my perfect pick for this week's theme.
Don't be scared any longer because sin has no Power over you if you resist it, sin will only oppress you when you don't know you can actually overcome and be victorious with Jesus Christ. You have to resist the oppression of sin and hold onto Christ, then you will be able to be victorious in the end. Know that it is not easy but we are lucky to have Christ who is willing to be of help when we ask from him. Oppression will always come, but then the best way I fight my oppression is by going to the one who has bought me with his blood which is Christ and I will be rest assured he will come to my aid.

Hola, mi familia de micr贸fono abierto de Hive y mi hermosa espectadora, es un gran privilegio hacer una entrada para esta semana, he tenido algunos desaf铆os tratando de obtener mi entrada para cada semana, as铆 que tuve que tomarlo con calma, pero para esto semana me encargu茅 de hacer una entrada sin importar qu茅 y aqu铆 estoy. El tema de esta semana que fue elegido por nuestro artista destacado y se llama LUCHA CONTRA LA OPRESI脫N y para mi entrada, eleg铆 presentar una canci贸n de mi libro de himnos titulada VICTORIA EN JES脷S.

Esta canci贸n habla de c贸mo podremos obtener la victoria en Jes煤s porque 茅l muri贸 por nosotros y nos compr贸 con su propia sangre para que podamos tener poder sobre el pecado, al obedecer sus mandamientos. Luchamos contra la opresi贸n del pecado todos los d铆as de nuestras vidas y la mayor铆a de las veces sucumbimos a su opresi贸n incluso sin saberlo, pero luego, en el momento en que nos damos cuenta de que hemos ca铆do, debemos correr hacia Jesucristo porque solo en 茅l podemos encontrar la victoria y por eso sent铆 que esta canci贸n era mi elecci贸n perfecta para el tema de esta semana.
No temas m谩s porque el pecado no tiene poder sobre ti si lo resistes, el pecado solo te oprimir谩 cuando no sepas que realmente puedes vencer y salir victorioso con Jesucristo. Tienes que resistir la opresi贸n del pecado y aferrarte a Cristo, entonces podr谩s ser victorioso al final. Sepan que no es f谩cil pero tenemos la suerte de tener a Cristo que est谩 dispuesto a ayudarnos cuando se lo pedimos. La opresi贸n siempre vendr谩, pero entonces la mejor manera de combatir mi opresi贸n es yendo al que me ha comprado con su sangre que es Cristo y estar茅 seguro de que vendr谩 en mi ayuda.
