Hi wonderful people,
Its been a few days since I last posted but its been a bit of a busy week with helping family with appointments and helping my sister plan my nephews 11th birthday which will be halloween theme. By the way I can't believe where time has gone. I remember being about 14 years old and helping her with baby since she had to get an emergency c-cection. He has grown into such a great boy who loves baseball and football and doing so good in school.Anyways let me tell you a bit of what I did last week end!
On Sunday my husband and I decided to take a day trip to Virginia City. Its about 45 mins from Reno with great history and such a beautiful drive with a windy road up the mountain. The city was Built in the 19th century when mining was huge. Now its just a great little city to visit with museums, restaurants, mining tunnels to explore, and its said to be very haunted with halloween tours. I took some photos I will share with you I hope you enjoy and don't forget to follow and comment :)
You can see part of the road going up the mountain and also Reno in the distance.
This photo shows the Valley below and Sierra Mountains in the back with their wonderful blue glow.
Entering Virginia City and you can see the top of St. Mary's in the Mountains Catholic Church to your left, which I love and is my favorite place to visit when I came here with such beautiful interior.
