The same week @asgarth shipped PeakD Affinity and Klipy GIFs, hive.blog opened AI search and privacy-first video embeds, and more top witnesses rolled onto 1.28.7. Net stake still favored exits: about 2.37 million HIVE powered down versus 1.14 million up.

The onboarding story stayed practical. @ecency framed Waves as a place to keep an audience when leaving X or Threads. Sister posts walked communities, how creators earn, keys instead of passwords, and moving a blog without losing readers. That is five plain-language posts in one week — not a feature dump.
Frontends matched the education beat with shipping. @asgarth's PeakD update brought Affinity scoring, Klipy GIFs, and cleaner image handling. On hive.blog, the denser repo merged click-to-load privacy embeds for video, wired HiveSense AI search into the blog, and showed open market orders plus recurring transfers in the wallet.
Builders widened the tool shelf. @behiver launched Goals in HivePulse, then tightened them from feedback. @hdev posted Waggle and a HAF For You feed, then a new developer cohort plus Vylor. @beggars matured Hive Stream with offline tests, docs, and a CLI. @sagarkothari88 kept HiveSuite loud — Word Finder, smarter uploads, media and node control.
Games and apps moved too. @holozing opened Holozing:Wilds public alpha. @wrestorgonline launched WOO Ranked Mode. @liketu shipped front — one portable link page. @keychain named Multichain Explorer Challenge winners. @x-rain pushed HivePosh onto Threads (85 comments on that post alone).
On governance: four Decentralized Hive Fund (DHF) proposals stay above the return line, led by the HBD Stabilizer at 12,000 HBD per day. Print rate remains zero. For how that debt pause works, see issue #75.
hive.blog: hive/denser had a packed week — privacy video embeds (click-to-load), HiveSense AI search on the blog, wallet market orders and recurring transfers, real HTTP 404s for missing posts, plus CSP and history error polish.
Core node: hive/hive cherry-picked a bug fix to master. Roughly nine of the top 21 witnesses now run v1.28.7 (including @gtg, @arcange, @stoodkev). Still Hard Fork 28 — no Hard Fork 29 on mainnet.
Wax / HAF: Wax prototyped a Rust library target. Balance tracker and block explorer gained clearer stats labeling and pagination. haf_api_node added optional PROXY protocol support.
Ecency stack: Mobile shipped notification thumbnails, a working Show Images path, and daily check-in on open. vision-next pushed HBD custom-domain hosting and a claim landing for unused *.blogs.ecency.com names. vision-api hardened Hive and Hive-Engine failover.
3Speak: Community snaps editing and feed polish on TV; Shorts max duration raised to 120s; Snapie player gained OpenPods live playback and stopped storing viewer IPs in watch tracking.

Nine of the top 21 witnesses now run v1.28.7. Others remain on 1.28.3 or 1.28.6. The network stays on Hard Fork 28.
