Having a coffee with a friend can be medicinal. Today I got to sit down with my closest bud for the first time in awhile. Our sons are only a few weeks apart in age, so they ran around doing whatever 2 year old boys do, and we caught up. My espresso machine had been stored away for at least a year...

If you've been paying good attention, you will realize that there are so many things already happening with the invention, advancement and use cases of robotics in this modern day and time. 2013 now feels like a moment in antiquity because of how advanced the world has become since then and there is so much already happening. Immediately Maverick boarded the night bus going to his hometown, different thoughts crossed his mind. Returning home after five years was supposed to make him happy but it was the other way around. Initially, he didn't think it was necessary because of how bad the relationship between him and his father had gotten but he needed somewhere to stay pending the time he would get a job and move out of his father's place completely. All through his time at the university, Maverick only called home to request money and his father's well being had nothing on him...

This post is part of a long series I plan to report about Palestine as a country, culture, and humans across multiple communities in hopes that I spread the world about Palestine and what is happening there. The fact that I am an Arab obviously comes with perceived bias which is a perception that I accept considering that most of the people on this platform are not Arabs. As much as I believe it is something I am able to refute using my own history, I prefer to keep the focus of this series on Palestine itself and let the series speak for itself. However, considering the aforementioned fact of my identity, I have challenged myself and limited myself to use mostly sources that are outside of the Arab world when it comes to facts...

Opening up. It is such a simple term, and in theory it's supposed to be something very easy to do. But in reality it is not always so easy. I'm not sure why, and I don't know if it's the same for everyone but for me there's an innate feeling and desire to just have my own personal space...

He had gotten so many missed phone calls he started hearing his ringtone even when no one was calling him. He wasn't sure why but he couldn't bring himself to put it on silent. He wanted to hear the ringing...

Okay, time to get back to posting after a lull! I actually have a plan for working it back into my schedule. This is my contribution to @detlev's weekly Bear Saturday event. I didn't manage to get this posted last weekend, but I was thrilled to see in that you can post any day of the week...

Amina gazed at the seemingly fairly bright moon and squinted. She began making faces at it as she wiped her hands off the lingering drops of milk. “Off you go now”. she tapped the butt of the cow she was milking...

"Do you have secrets"? Judy held his gaze for some minutes trying to understand what he meant before shrugging. "Everyone has secrets Sean". The eight year old turned back to his drawing book and persistently dragged a red color from the mouth of the matchstick lady he had drawn...

Image by @justclickindiva, from the . Andrea saw herself mirrored in the immense glass walls of the mysterious building. A detour on the way home to her dormitory was forbidden, but still she had repeated the offense every day for the last two weeks. A park like perimeter of the edifice contrasted dramatically with its austere opacity...

I have hairy eyebrows. There, I've said it. Girt big caterpillars. Thank goodness I didn't inherit my father's werewolfian arms or hobbithairy feet, but I do have fuzzy over eye slugs...

As the sun rose on the horizon, I knew that it was going to be another hot day. It had rained heavily the previous evening heralding a cold night, but now the sun is up to carry out it's duties of warming up the day. I gires a warm day wouldn't be so bad as it will make it a bit lively. Also some roads that are usually water logged and impassable whenever it rains will dry up a bit...
