You may ask why I said so. Wait I will explain. In life there are those who have gone ahead of us they never had anyone to direct them in certain things, so they struggled through the process with a high determination for success, lastly they made it. So those kind of people should serve as a role model of excellence. Most people who I have heard use that word "Experience is the best teacher" I saw them as those who don't like to seek for advice but prefer to do things their own way.
This brings me to the topic of the day which I will be sharing my experience. "An Event That Taught Me A Good Lesson".
Over time I have had this deep feels to start up a Corner for Ladies. This thoughts I have nortured for some years. I went as far as telling some friends about it and they were happy. But to take that baby step of doing the gathering was so difficult for me. Some times this year, my thoughts began to hunt me, the more I try to give myself excuses the more it hunts me the MORE. Then I began to seek for more guidance and gave myself a boundary, which is to have at least ten Ladies including myself before I start. One day I mentioned this Experience to my husband's Mentor on his birthday and told him how I need at least ten persons before I get going. One thing he said that stroke a cord in my heart was, "what if you don't get up to ten now, so it will remain a mouth thing". That was on Sunday morning, that same Thursday I decide to take that baby step. And we have been on for a month now. During our gathering, I have heard some of them come to tell me of how impactful it has been to them, in my heart, I rejoiced for that baby step
This Experience I just shared with you taught me some lessons
- No matter how beautiful a vision is, it will remain in that realm till it is birthed
- Taking a baby step leads to walking well, running and flying. So until the baby steps is made, one will keep crawling.
- There are many who are tired to that little positive decision whose life will not have much impact until you step out.
- Standing on the experiences of others will help us achieve success early, listen and obeying the voice of wise men will deliver us of lowness
- Staying indecisive does no man good rather brings guilt.
