Greetings!

This life is all about experience and experience they say is the best teacher. Whether you are wise or otherwise, experience is your teacher. One thing that I have gotten to know in this life is that, no one can claim to be wise enough without him or her not to have passed through the events of life and one thing that speaks about these events of life is our experience.

Having talked about life and the experiences of life, I would like to delve I to the topic of the prompt before me in the Hive student connect community which is all about, “What made you who you are today?”

Over the years. I have been waiting for this kind of a question and today, I'm glad I have this sole opportunity to give an answer and not just an answer but an account of what made me who I am today.

But before I proceed, I would like to tell you who I was before. Back then, I was a mummy boy and there's nothing I could do then without the input and the influence of my mum, that was who I was.

However, after the sudden death of my mum, it was like the world was over as everything including my life looked cloudy and by then all the promises at her burial went unfulfilled including the one made by her immediate siblings.

So, as a result of this, I started living by myself and this was without the input or influence of anybody, I fend for myself and my younger brother. Though it was not easy, I just have to do something to make my life better and that was the kind of life that experience had taught me even till today and because I saw nobody by my side back then. I now see life as a lonely life where people care for no other person than him or herself.

In conclusion, the experiences of life changed me from being a mummy's boy to a mature mind and not only that, from being a man of everyone to a lonely man and that's who I am today.

Thanks for reading.
