Good deeds that appear physically can be seen by all. But if the kindness is just for the sake of getting praise, it is a false good deed. True goodness is what is in your mind. When your mind does good, your body will do that good.
When you give charity to the poor, you are doing good. But is your kindness from your heart? People's hearts will judge with honesty. They can see your body language and your eyes.
