This lead to almost bed-ridden levels of burnout and that feeling of dopamine depletion
Omg same. Like it's so hard to think of symptoms yourself and hard to remember what you do on daily basis but once you read them from other people you will realize that you do it as well. For us creatives I think we feel more pressured when we experience burnouts, and it's no fun at all.
Damn, glutathione here is widely used for whitening. I only know it's an antioxidant naturally produced by the body but I've never heard of it helping with those brain chemicals. There's even a glutathione drip where they put those directly to the bloodstream (like how they put IV fluid) but I don't know if it does anything since it can't be destroyed in the stomach. But yeah the main purpose of that is only for whitening (because Asia).
Glad to hear that you found what worked for you. That was a long road. I will research on that and maybe ask my psychologist or psychiatrist. I don't even know if that exists here or if they even allow (?) haha but worth a shot asking them. Gluta shouldn't be a problem since literally everyone can just use it even small sketchy salons use it. XD Thank you for sharing!
