As promised in my walkwithme post, I am going to explain today's message stones on our walk.
On Saturday we lost our sweet kitty, Sloth.
So in his memory we painted and wrote messages to send out into the public.
We paired his memory walk with a #litterwalk, because both are so important to our family.
On the front of each stone we wrote a message, and on the back we drew a heart with wings, symbolizing our lost family member. Our Sloth.
We placed them in easy to find places. A bench, a bridge, the top of Elephant Rock, etc. all places frequented by visitors of the park.
Most were small enough to palm and carry in a pocket. This one was paper weight sized.
And it wouldn't be complete without the most important word from my very favorite children's story.
"Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, it's not going to get better. It's not."
-The Onceler.
Go. Care. Take care of your mother the Earth and take care of each other. Be of use while logging those #actifit steps.
Love to you.
