What's up with this headed South?
Right you are! But tonight I am enjoying a beer brewed in Charleston, SOUTH CAROLINA and as the name of the State implies; South Carolina is in fact South of North Carolina. Thus, tonight, I am heading South for #beersaturday.
I figured that a Sour would be the perfect way to end the Summer. The Air Conditioning has been off for an entire week now as the temperatures have been dipping into the 60s at night and not rising above 85 F!
I know some folks might think that 85 F might warrant the AC but when you live in the South that is considered mild weather.
BEER NAME: Sour Blackberry Raspberry
STYLE: American Sour Ale
ABV: 6.5%
BREWER: Edmund's Oast Brewing, Charleston, South Carolina
APPEARANCE: reddish pink, small head and cloudy
AROMA: malts
TASTE: taste like tart raspberries and finishes a little sweet
MOUTHFEEL: light body, carbonates well with a clean finish
Overall this Sour is a fantastic beer with a sweet and sour explosion.
I like this can art!
Speaking of art . . .
So I have a #beersaturday tradition of asking a trivia question. The first person to answer the question correctly in the COMMENTS, wins a BEER TOKEN!
Question: Name the Four States that border North Carolina.
Good Luck!
I will see y'all next #beersaturday!
