Outwork Everybody

Most of the people are complaining that they are not good at what they are doing, that they are still not making enough money, that they are poor and have no possibility of improvement through their current job. But at the same time, they are only willing to work 8 hours per day and nothing in their free time.

I don’t have any empathy towards the people that are only working a few hours per day and are crying about being poor.

I decided to continue my post from yesterday and focus more on the hard work in this one.

Greatness comes with a price, if you are willing to work 16 hours per day, straight then you will be able to accomplish anything but if you choose to get home and eat some shitty food, watch useless TV, literally waste your time and your life you will not make anything come true.

You see, 16 hours is not even that much, you can stay awake 18 hours and sleep only 6, most of the time that should be enough. I sometimes sleep just five hours, get a coffee in the morning, and it’s all great. Find what works best for you, you may feel great after five hours or sleep, or you may need seven-eight.

The idea is that you should work for as much as possible in that day. Fuck fatigue and fuck “I’m not in the mood for work, I just want to chill out,” they are all bullshit. You can break out of any state you are into; you just need the will to do it, the wish to make something out of your time instead of wasting it around.

Attain Success

The things are so simple it’s not that hard to succeed, you only need to want it enough to make it happen. Most of the people are not working hard, they are just taking it easy, and if you’re working harder than them, you can be better. You don’t have to be more talented nor a bigger genius you just have to outwork them.

Especially here on Steem where most of the minnows only expect to show up, write crappy to decent content and make a shitload of money with little to no work but that is not always possible. By working hard and having patience your success is almost guaranteed, it’s out there you just have to grab it!

Don’t get me wrong, it’s simple, but it is not easy, at least in the beginning. If you have a job, you will either go to work or get fired, but if you’re working in your spare time for yourself, no one can fire you if you don’t show up thus for a lot of the people the motivation for working hard is lost.

To accomplish something like this you need two things, discipline, and momentum. The control to take you out of a shitty state, shake everything up a little bit and start working no matter what. It will be hard to do it in the beginning as it was for me too but by practicing it, you’ll get better. Discipline is only a muscle; if you train it, it’ll get stronger.

You gain momentum by doing something continuously for a long time until it gets natural. It’s hard for me to explain what momentum is, you have to feel it. It’s like writing a post every single day, after a time you gain momentum and it will get so much easier to prepare the posts. The most important thing about momentum is not to lose it after you acquire it because is so freaking hard to get it back. Don’t let it split through your fingers, never stop.

Conclusion

You need to understand that the only way to make something great happen is by doing it in your spare time. If you work more than the other people, you will be able to make anything happen.

Michael Jordan is not a better basketball player than the other ones because he was born with talent but in fact because he’s outworking them. When there’s a break within a season he’s not doing yayo&hookers like the other guys, but he keeps on training, keeping that momentum alive.

If you want success on Steem, go out there and work for even 10 hours straight if it’s needed until you make it and do not ever stop. I stopped, for about a month or two I got lazier, I still worked more than most of the people but not as much as I did in the beginning. Now, I finally got where I wanted, and I can tell you, it feels so fucking great.

Hard work and patience is the key, and now that you know it, you have no excuse.
