Have you ever been stressed out from working really hard, and you begin to see symptoms from this stress? Maybe chest pain, headaches, dizziness, sheer exhaustion and all that? And you begin to feel really guilty for taking a break?
This has been me lately. Yesterday night I was so exhausted that I could barely move, I decided to rest a little and I didn't even remember sleeping off. I couldn't meet the deadline, I wanted to, I already worked really hard to meet it, but I couldn't but on the flip side, I got the needed rest that I should get: a 7 hours sleep.
Before what night, I'd been sleeping 3 to 4 hours daily and even though I know that it wasn't enough, I didn't have a choice and the circumstances that caused that was something I couldn't control.
Rest is something we cannot trade, it just comes and we cannot replace it with something else, some people work too hard with getting the needed results but tht body does not understand success, it understands only that you need to take care of it, it doesn't consider whether you need to pay rent or not or whether you've failed in your business.
Your body does not have a mind of its own. Your mind understands your struggles, the problems you have and why you need to take care of them ASAP, but it doesn't take this into consideration and go like "okay, because you need more money, I'll spare you the time, and you can work as you please without having to sleep"
The human system is too fragile for the problems we put it through. Humanity have created systems that makes sure the poor will work harder than they earn, making it possible for them to develop health issues that is caused by chronic stress.
The rich is developing systems that lets them go on holiday and party, so that they can continue to make enough money at the expense of the poor. This is why when people say that "the sky is big enough for everyone to fly"
I laugh a lot because while the sky is truly big enough for every human, if people can actually build houses in the air without gravitational forces pulling it down, the rich will still dominate that, making it very difficult for people to actually have enough.
This is why the world is wired this way. You have to literally work so hard, and sometimes you'll work for nothing and your efforts will be wasted. The efforts and the exertions you need to put into endeavors will require you to actually take some rests so that your body can recover, but this is where the problem comes in.
A lot of people in this world do not have enough time to work and rest, and sometimes this is mostly because what they're paying for is more than they actually make as income, and sometimes they need to put in extra hours to cover up for this.
But, a lot of people do not actually earn for every time they put in into other endeavors in life.. if people are actually paid for how many hours they work, I think care givers and people who work 3 jobs are supposed to be the richest woman in the world, buy unfortunately this isn't even how the world works.
There is a system that works in life, and this is called the system of compounding. There's a stage you need to get to that doesn't require you to work so hard anymore, but sometimes you might need to become top 5% of world's population to even get to this level.
Will you get there? Maybe, or maybe not. Truth is. We cannot tell for sure, but definitely you'll need to get to this level to work less and earn more.
If you still don't realize it, reality has some of the harshest phenomenons ever, and we're part of the reasons why life is this way, at least some certain persons made it so. If you're out there, working too hard and earning quite little, make sure you take your rest, you're nothing without your good health.
