I was going through a post today about an account who got their HBD, HIVE and other tokens stolen from them through what looks like an orchestrated scam by INLEO.

So basically this is not about clicking links anymore, the scam seems to have happened through account creation process.

So basically getting your account created for you can also put you at risk of an orchestrated Scam especially if the individuals who on boarded you, decided to flip up on you. So if you're not clicking links but your account was created for you, especially through someone you probably don't trust, or maybe through INLEO (The infamous LEO project on Hive owned by Khal) then you should probably change your keys now.

If you account was created by you, then you're probably safe, just don't click links. I wanted to think INLEO was not involved in this....

but the accounts involved with the scams were created by LEO.VOTER, so is it possible that the people who owned these accounts went rogue and started scamming people of their yard earned Hive, or this is LEO.VOTER and their owner deliberately scamming people they've onboarding by using their keys?

I think there has to be more investigation into this, but the way it's looking, it's pretty much looking like a scam by INLEO, and I checked and followed the money and this scam runs into thousands of dollars, which has been successfully stolen from meaning Hive users, who did nothing wrong, and their only offense was getting their account onboarded/created by INLEO.

it's no longer news that the INLEO founders are now pitching their services to some other chain.

I see their activities on Twitter, including the project owners second (a Mexican guy, can't remember his name now) they're fully into other stuffs and probably no longer on Hive, so it's possible that since they're no longer affiliated with the blockchain, they probably feel they don't have anything to lose and no one actually knows their location.

Although they're doxxed and their face is out there, I doubt anyone on Hive is going to be doing anything to bring them to book, because we're probably not as united as we used to be, and the witnesses are probably engrossed in other things.

As a victim of a scam like this that happened through smart contract. I hate scammers with every passion. I'm struggling financially in life because of being a victim of scam, so if anyone is willing to investigate this further to find out what absolutely happened, then I think it'll be really great.

If INLEO turns out to be scammers, then they need to be paraded as such and blacklisted off the chain forever, even though we probably cannot recover the money of the victims that were scammed.

There are honestly no excuses for scams, and apparently I didn't even think that people can exploit others by scamming them through account creation process. But I guess scammers are always willing to actually exploit loopholes especially when it comes to the desperation to cheat others of their hard earned money.

This is sad, and I honestly think it has to be investigated really well, and if they're found guilty, then something has to be seriously done, and someone has to start questioning the LEO founder.

I think I have to start going a little digging myself about their activities so far, even though I know they showed it several times that they're no longer affiliated with the chain. This is completely horrible.

Also, I have left screenshots of the accounts involved, and how they seems to be recycling the funds, and it's evident to see the accounts were created by one account.
