Some of the last images from the exciting night in the Dresden train depot. Something that simply has to rotate as it was designed. So let us do that. Rotate the wheel set.

It was certainly not a heart surgery so not that complicated.
What you see is a featured Light Painting is a single 86 second exposure time photograph. The camera was always set to ISO 100 and the LAOWA Zero D 12mm F2.8 Lens to F11. The Camera was rotated during the exposure in twelve steps where I lit the wheel set indivudually..

The "start" of the show here is the wheelset. Let us get ready for the Camera Rotation
For this part I selected a set that was more or less in a darker area. I am sure there were more beautiful or ancient once but here it was dark with less ambient light.
F眉r diese Aufnahme hatte ich eine dunkle Ecke mit wenig Lichtverschmutzung gefunden. Sicher nicht das Sch枚nste Radset aber in der dunklen Ecke.
Everytime comes first a simple lightinging test on the wheel-set using white and yellowish for the color effect. Here we just do a quick 180掳 turn to get comfortable with the camera set up. The Rotation head has these little nobs that help me with the rotation in the dark. With twlefe steps to perform very useful.
Als erstes schnell mal Einleuchten 眉ben, mit in bisschen wei脽 und gelb und dann einfach mal 180掳 Drehung. So zum warm werden. Der Rotationskopf hat so kleine Noppen die einem im Dunkelen helfen die n盲chste Position zu finden. Bei zw枚lf Schritten sehr hilfreich.
As published before the four step shot was already super cool - from there one has to go one step further. So the 12 step rotation in the featured shot was just a result of seeing this so nice.
Dann mal schnell die 4x90 Grad Dreheung testun einfach nur mal in wei脽. Als ich das im Kasten hatte war ich schon mal super begeistert. Das sieht auch schon echt cool aus. Aber f眉r meine finales Foto wollte ich wie Ihr oben gesehen hattet auch das gelb mit drin haben.
Camera Rotation is what?
As I have shared with you in many of my posts about Camera Rotation. Yes it is just the name suggests. During the exposure, the entire camera is being turned in a few angles and while doing so I also light up the scene.
Prinzip Kamera Rotation Light Painting?
Wie in einigen meiner Posts beschrieben ist Kamera Rotations Fotografie genau was der Name schon erl盲utert. Die Kamera wird einfach mitten in der Belichtung gedreht und dabei wird das Subjekt ausgeleuchtet.
