Someone was granted poetic licence. A romantic city where the Danube meets and mingles with the Sava. Belgrade translates as the "White City".

Beige is the new white? Or maybe it is my bad for shunning the usual tourist sites and following my lens. Did I enjoy what I saw? damn right I did.

Now known as Republic Square. The Balkans have been a place of tension and conflict as recently as the Kosova war of 1998. With the break up of Yugoslavia, separate independent states were formed. We are now in Serbia.
