I’m back with you again to take you on a little tour of the area around Plaza La Cruz in Cabudare, right in the heart of the city.

I went there to pay my taxes at the municipal government office, which is right across from the plaza, and I walked quickly down the block because it was raining.

All these days, the weather had been very humid and hot, and the sun seemed to be right above our heads.

So much so that I felt the sun burning my skin through my shirt, and sweat ran down my entire body; like burning embers, the beads of sweat trickled down.

Today was a different kind of day: cool, with a breeze carrying the scent of rain and a very cloudy sky. The rain started very early and washed the streets and avenues of this city clean.

On my walk, I first noticed the building that houses the municipal government offices, and inside you can see people waiting their turn to be served.

You can also see part of La Cruz Square, with its beautiful gardens that cool the atmosphere and bring greenery to the area. There, people take the opportunity to rest and chat while they wait.

It was a very short walk because the rain made it difficult to move around, but nevertheless, it was a lovely experience to take in this colorful part of the city.

Paseo por Cabudare en una mañana lluviosa

Saludos queridos amigos de la comunidad de los paseos de los miércoles @wednesdaywalk, espero que hayan disfrutado de un día cubierto de bendiciones.

Estoy nuevamente con ustedes para mostrarles un pequeño recorrido por los alrededores de la plaza la cruz en Cabudare en pleno corazón de la ciudad.

Llegue allí con el fin de pagar los impuestos en la alcaldía del municipio, que queda justo al frente de la plaza, y caminé por la cuadra velozmente porque estaba lloviendo.

Todos estos días, el clima había estado muy húmedo y caluroso y el sol parecia que estuviese justo encima de nuestras cabezas.

Tanto es así que sentía que el sol me quemaba la piel por encima de mi camisa y el sudor recorria todo mi cuerpo, como una brasa ardiente bajaban las gotas de sudor.

Hoy fue un dia diferente: fresco, con brisa de lluvia y un cielo muy nublado. La lluvia comenzó muy temprano y limpió las calles y avenidas de esta ciudad.

En mi recorrido observé en primer lugar el edificio donde funciona la alcaldía del municipio y dentro se ven las personas que esperan su turno para ser atendidos.

También se aprecia parte de la plaza la cruz, con sus bonitos jardines que refrescan el ambiente y dan verdor a la zona. Allí la gente aprovecha para descansar y conversar mientras esperan.

Fue un recorrido muy corto porque la lluvia no me permitió moverme con facilidad, pero sin embargo, fue una bonita experiencia contemplar esta colorida parte de la ciudad.
