Here are some photos from the walk I took this afternoon along Ribereña Avenue on my way to work—I walked because my car is out of commission while the engine is being repaired.

It’s been almost two weeks since I started having my car’s engine repaired, and to get to work, I have to wait for my daughter to give me a ride or lend me her car. When she can’t, I have to walk or wait for a van. Normally, where I live, it’s not easy to take public transportation because the buses are packed and don’t stop at the right stop, so it’s actually faster to walk than to wait for public transportation.

Today I went for a walk, and I took the avenue that passes in front of my house and kept going until the end to take the detour to get to my job. It's a very pleasant walk, despite how strong the sun's rays were today.

Along that route, we find several developments with beautiful facades and flower-lined paths that give the area a very pleasant appearance. The Santa Cecilia development is located there, with its beautiful arch marking the entrance to the community. We also find Roca del Valle, Villa París, Los Samanes, among others.

The best part of the trip was that, because I was focused on taking photos, the journey seemed shorter, and I reached my destination in no time.

Caminata de los miércoles en la vía hacia mi trabajo

Saludos estimado amigos de los miércoles de caminata, espero que su día haya sido excelente y lleno de bendiciones.

Por acá les comparto imágenes del recorrido que hice justo hoy en horas de la tarde, por la avenida Ribereña cuando me dirigía a mi trabajo a pie porque el carro está inhabilitado por la reparación del motor.

Hace ya casi dos semanas que comencé a repararle el motor a mi auto y para asistir a mi trabajo debo esperar a mi hija para que me lleve o me preste su carro y cuando no puede, me toca caminar o esperar una camioneta. Normalmente donde vivo no es fácil tomar el transporte público porque van llenos y no hacen la parada correspondiente, así que se llega mas rápido caminando que esperando el transporte.

Hoy tocó caminar y lo hice por la avenida que pasa frente a mi casa y seguí hasta el final para tomar la desviación hasta llegar a mi trabajo. Es un paseo bastante agradable a pesar de lo fuerte que estuvieron hoy los rayos solares.

Por esa vía encontramos varias urbanizaciones con bonitas fachadas y con caminos de flores que le dan un aspecto muy agradable a la vía. Por allí se ubica la urbanización Santa Cecilia, con su bonito arco que señala la entrada del urbanismo. También encontramos Roca del valle, Villa París, Los samanes , entre otras.

Lo mejor del recorrido fue que al estar pendiente de tomar las fotografías, el camino se me hizo más corto y llegué en poco tiempo a mi destino.
