Around late last year, in December, just a day before Christmas, I went to the car park to collect a delivery sent to me by my sister. As I was waiting, I saw two garage boys fighting, not something rough, not simple either. I asked one of the boys drivers if they won't separate them; he said that is what they usually do and that it is not a new thing for them.
Well, I had no other choice than to keep watching their funny fight and how they were exchanging words. One of them was throwing some weak punches, while the other was guarding so the punch wouldn't land on his face.
Deep down, I wished they could be separated, and at the same time I was enjoying it because they were demonstrating some funny moves that made me laugh and some others around me laugh.
And at the same time, their situation made me think about my country because a lot of people are just like those two garage folks enjoying blows and words. They keep shouting at each other, fighting over things that are not necessarily valid enough. Some people fight over small positions in church, the workplace, and even in the family, and they neglect their peace of mind.
Sometimes, we carry ourselves like a king in a small kingdom. I have been there too. And over time, I have realized to let a lot of things go because they aren't worth my time, let alone wasting my strength on them.
