From the moment I became aware of the internet world, I've been opportune to be in several platforms before Hive, but never have I had the best experience and benefits Hive has given to me in just a very short duration I've been here and it is just like the benefits are new every morning, and yes every of my day starts with hive after my morning devotions to show how committed I am to this platform, there is a saying that says that "you don't run after what you don't find joy doing" instead we cling unto the things that add values to our lives, and Hive is a great platform that has added so much value to mine, in this post, I will be sharing some out of the numerous lessons hive has taught me.
1 CONSISTENCY
If there is one thing all newbies have in common, it is the struggle to get noticed on the blockchain, those low or no votes at first can be quite discouraging, and some even give up, but Hive has shown to give more than just the rewards, and it is only when you put your heart into it, for me, I started focusing on learning and get myself entertained through the posts of other amazing authors we have here, through them, I was able to stay consistent, looking away from the rewards and just have a nice time, also with time, the rewards started coming in, which made me realize that likewise in other aspects of life, we don't have to rush things, staying consistent while giving our best to what we believe in will eventually reward us, don't give up too soon.
2 NETWORKING
I've written here times without number how my growth here on Hive wouldn't have been possible within the period I've been here if not for the network of friends I made here on Hive, in that same vein, I make sure to assist newbies who need guidance on how to thrive, hive has thought me that we all rise by lifting others and not being selfish with our little help and information, also no man is an island of knowledge, there is no day I don't get a refreshing piece of knowledge from Hive. just like our collective effort contributes to the growth of the blockchain, we all need each other support to grow, by supporting a fellow author by leaving encouraging comments on other authors' posts, also making sure to share knowledge we come across that will be beneficial to others, relating this lesson to our daily lives, sometimes we miss on on higher opportunities because of holding back the little we have and not making connections with people around us.
