Nice being here again this week, because I didn't drop any post in the community for last week, since I did have anything to write about hive game , I have never played it before, although I have been trying to learn and understand how to go about it but still I can't figure it out. If I will have some to teach me I will be so happy.
But I am here for this week's topic. Truly hive has really changed my online life. Because hive is one platform that I visit nearly everyday, either to read from people's blog or I also write. Hive has helped me understand that people can tackle a particular topic from different angle and you will still see the sense in it. It helps me understand people's opinion and ideas. Before joining Hive, I mostly used social media to view people's content. I would scroll, read posts, watch videos, react to other people’s content, and move on, especially in web 2 apps, and it drains your data without nothing in return to motivate you to come back the next day, but in hive I have been able to share my opinion and also be sure of a reward at least this alone is a motivational factor to come back the next day.
Hive has also thought me consistency. Because here in hive consistency matters. You may publish a post today and get very little attention, vote and rewards, but that does not necessarily mean the post has no value, although to some newbie it might be discouraging, I remember when one of the person I introduced to hive confronted me one day and said, after all the energy and time that I invested in writing , look at what I got " , I laughed because I was actually expecting that question. I told her to keep showing up and do be consistent. Hive has taught me to keep showing up, keep learning, and keep improving. It has also help me to know that everyday is not Christmas 🤣.
So to me ,hive is not just a social media platform, but a platform to learn ,grow and earned.
