Playground Shadows.
I confess, it has been a while since I made it to the playground with my bub.
Quite some time ago I shot these playground shadows with him at what was at the time, our local park.
We have moved since, to have the support of my mother.
Granny does a lot for us.
These photos make me more than a little sad actually.
I realise I am getting sicker and have less energy and more pain. I seldom leave home anymore. I miss out on simple family outings like this, my husband does almost everything and my mother is the one to take him to the park now instead of me.
It does remind me that I am lucky to have what I do have too.
My family.
They are beautiful and make so many concessions for me.
They are very tolerant of my limits.
My preschooler truly enjoys mumdays, as he calls them.
They are stay at home in your pyjamas days, gaming and watching TV. Or painting or puzzling.
Quite often Netflix and snacks in bed.
Or paint rocks for him to take to the park and leave for other kids to find.
My kids are amazing.
My little guy is also a big fan of shadow puppetry.
We make our own playground at home these days.
