The Haiku prompt is from brokemancode@brokemancode who is doing a 30 day Haiku challenge.

He has invited everyone to join his creative writing initiative and to use the tag.

#thirtydayhaikuchallenge.

Today's prompt or maybe yesterday is Branches.

I have been loosely interpreting the prompts.

brokenamcode@brokenamcode writes beautiful Haikus that are accompanied with original photography.

I have managed in my own somewhat macabre way, to give the themes a bit of a twist. Turning the visions of cool water, starry nights and nature, into a very different picture for sure.

Please do check out brokemancode@brokemancode's poetry, along with the other poets using thirtydayhaikuchallenge tag.

I have joined a little later than others. It is day 15 .

I am only at 4.

I've been doing my #bicscrawl a little longer.

It has been nice to be given a prompt these last few days. I committed to drawing everyday for thirty days to help create more creative space in my head and to get Steeming again.

The themes I have covered so far are.

Plane

Spring

Fall

and now

Branches.

Mine appear to have run together like an emotional falling down.

I have put them together here for your thoughts.

I promise it is not an appeal for assistance, it is just the nature of my bic pen. It has it's own mind.

Plane

Alone on a plane
Adjacent never meeting
I know you are there.

Spring

A twisted coil
Contorted tightly contained
The promise of bounce.

Impulsive Spring Then Come The Fall.

It happens each time

The crystal clear lulls the spring

Each time blind falling.

Today's -prompt is branches.

Falling into your arms.

Outstretched entangled
Momentary break of fall
Embraced cradle snap.
