We live in a world full of excuses made by men
Rather than take ownership we always defer and ask the "when?"
A lot of people shit where they eat like the hen
They don't take responsibility as long as they earn
There are lions out there, they say, all in their den
They have manipulated the systems even with their pen
They feed fat on others with different currencies including the Yen
It's what everyone is doing they say, they have no conscience
Everyone is responsible for how they turn out, no need to stay on the fence
No one would do it for you but you have to reflect and think
A lot has been said and many people have been deceived with a wink
They would turn on you without thinking, within a blink
It's the way of the world they say, they can't even think
Stop blaming others for what they didn't do
Quit blaming others for what you did and own up to your actions
No action would be considered blameless unless the will was so
Why you said? For by the will the act was dictated
No man can make another person do what they don't want to do and I'm not talking about rape
Whatever action we take, we need to own up to it and admit it to ourselves
There are always moments to reflect and do things right
It's okay to fail, it's okay not to have a hang on things
Self admittance is better rather than blaming others for your frailties
The road to self-discovery and healing is taking responsibility for your actions
