Some people believe that the way people dress can trigger some actions and reaction on other people. In as much as we all have the responsibility of controlling ourselves and what we do and in as much as I don't support any silly action, it is important to note that the way we dress can lead to a lot of things, which is one reason they say that the way we dress is how we are addressed. Everyone should take responsibility of what they do to avoid being a victim of circumstance, because some incident might not even give you the opportunity or second chance to explain yourself or defend yourself. It is wise to take responsibility of how we dress and what we do.
I remember a case that happened in the area that I lived some years back, a young guy was always being accused of abusing young ladies. But since he was not caught red handed , no reasonable action was taken, untill one day God decided to disgrace him. As they keep saying that a bad character / habit wil always have a way of disgracing you one day. He went to church and while the service was ongoing, a young lady stepped out to ease herself and they guy noticing this also stepped out. Few minutes later people started hearing noise outside, so when they ran out to check, it was this young guy trying to abuse the young lady. He was caught red handed and was seriously delt with. When he was asked why he did that he said that the lady dressed so sexy and he liked it , and he was severely punished , while the punishment was going on, he started saying that it's the devil's handwork. Now from dressing to blaming the devil and the devil was not there to give a disclaimer , so he was then handed over to the law enforcement agency to do more investigation.
The lady's dressing was a bit somehow but that was not enough reason for the guy to make such a reckless move.
So in summary, I will personally not blame clothing in as much as it is one of the factors, I will not also totally blame the mindset because everyone must control their mind and not allow their mind control them. So to me there is no justification for any indecent behavior. We should all take responsibility of our actions and inactions.
