My early morning walk is extra special today because my little best friend joined me to catch the sunrise! ❤
When it was 5am, I turned off my alarm to doze off a little. But then when I turned, I saw the young man sitting in the bed next to the window, looking at the sky, and he said, "sunset." I replied, "it's sunrise, son. Do you want to go out to take a picture of it?" He excitedly said yes.
We jumped out of bed and changed into my walking clothes. He was so excited that he only wear his slippers on.
I slowed down my pace and he quickened his, meeting halfway on our walk. We went to my two favorite spots and walked some few blocks more. But then, because he didn't wear his walking shoes, he nearly had blisters, so we went home!
It was all too pleasant experience for me to walk around with him during the early part of the morning, when the world is new and fresh and serene, with a burst of vitamin D from the sun! That in itself is a natural medicine! ❤
