Everyone's favorite Share Your Battle Weekly Challenge - Dragons is back. It will be my fifth time writing about it so I am gradually exhausting the Dragon Monsters I can talk about, well, not really, there are still a ton. 😁 This time I have decided to showcase a battle involving a Humanoid Monster, a member of the Dragon Splinter - the Dhampir Infiltrator. It is a great sneak Monster. It is probably one of the best Sneak Monsters readily available for play in Modern actually. The best thing about it is that everyone has easy access to it as it is one of the new reward cards and it still has a long way to go until it runs out of print.

Now before getting into the stats discussion of the Monster, let's have a sneak peek into its LORE

Well, well, it is not only a humanoid but it is actually half-vampire. Not only that but it is a vampire that drinks dragon blood. This is definitely innovative as far as vampire stories go. 😉

Alright, we've got some idea of what the Dhampir Infiltrator is, after glancing at its lore. Let us have a look at its stats and abilities at different key levels now.

Having in mind that it is a Rare Monster, it is expected for it to start with at least 1 special ability but in this case the Dhampir Infiltrator starts with 2. In addition to Sneak it also has the Double Strike ability. Double Strike paired with Sneak is always a recipe for success when deployed in the right circumstances.
At level 4 it gains an additional Melee Attack point for a total of 2. 2 attack instead of 1 makes a huge difference for Monsters with Double Strike for sure.
At level 5 it gains a 3rd ability - Cripple. Cripple is generally a pretty good ability in longer battles, well, when a Monster with Double Strike also has Cripple, then Cripple becomes a great ability in even shorter battles.
Finally maxxed out at level 8 the Monster has 2 Attack, 4 Speed, 0 Armor and 4 Health, and also gains a 4th ability - Affliction. So not only does it reduce the total health pool of its target but there is also a chance to make it unhealable.

Now that we know what the card does (or doesn't do) at the different levels of play, let us have a look at the battle I have chosen to showcase.

The line-up of the Battle and the Ruleset:

The ruleset for this battle is Broken Arrows (Ranged Attack Monsters may not be used in battles), and its mana restriction is as high as it can get - 99. This means I can splurge on any Monsters I have available. Unfortunately this battle is from my Bronze alt account so do not expect it to be very shiny. I start off with the go-to tank when I use the Dragon Splinter, which is, of course, Djinn Chwala. I have already done a whole share your battle blog on it which you can find at the bottom of this post.

The 2nd place in the line-up goes to a Monster I have also already blogged about (you can find the link at the bottom of the page), namely the Carnage Titan. It's currently the best off-tank in the game due to its Reach and Double Strike abilities.

The 3rd place in the line-up goes to another favorite Monster of mine and also a share your battle star - the Silent Sha-Vi. It's also a great Sneak Monster, and has won me thousands of battles at this point probably.

The 4th spot goes to our protagonist - the Dhampir Infiltrator. It has found itself in a good Sneak and Double Strike company, so I'm sure it will make the best of it.

5th in the line-up comes the Uraeus. When you already have two Sneak Monsters the best this you can do is to add a 3rd one. 😁

Last but definitely not least yet another Share Your Battle Challenge participant - the Disintegrator. I have it last to protect the backline from enemy Sneak Monsters, but its actual more important purpose is to debuff the attack of the enemy Monsters.

It is time for a quick round by round analysis:

So the Summoner I am going with for this battle my very own Quix. I only have 1 BCX of it and this is why it is delegated to my alt account. Hopefully I will be able to level it up sometime in the near future. Upvotes on this post will surely help 😉😉 jk, jk, no, I am not.. 🤣 Anyway back to the topic - my enemy is rocking a level 1 Thaddius, so I have an advantage right from the get-go as my level 1 Quix can support max level Monsters for Bronze due to the fact that it is a Legendary Summoner.

After 1 round, I have squashed the enemy's Sha-Vi and their Cursed Wendiku is close to dying as well.

At the start of Round 3 you can see that my 3 Sneak Monsters are doing plenty of work at the back, while my Carnage Titan and my Djinn Chwala are having fun at the front despite also being debuffed by the enemy Disintegrator.

Round 4 is here and all that is left is for my team to finish what they have started. A flawless victory.

The Dhampir Infiltrator is a great sneak Monster for the Dragon Splinter. It comes a the fair price of $0.49 per BCX. The fact that it is still managing to hold a relatively high price compared to other rare reward cards just shows how potent it is.
